A relaxing, reliable and calm versatile ski that performs great at both medium and higher speeds and that will ride through anything, anywhere.
The CWR was the first ever LUSTi ski with a rocker. This ski with a width of 84 mm under the boot will surprise the user with its calmness and strong stability on all surface types.
The composition is the same as for the skis of the PC, category, which means a sandwich construction with two Titanal sheets, but a thinner profile of the wooden core makes this ski softer, less aggressive and very well manoeuvrable even in open terrain. In addition, this ski has a long rocker (reverse camber) in the tip and in the tail which follows up on the camber under the binding. This concept allows for easier initiation of carved turns, makes skidding easier and helps enter the powder snow in open terrain.
How they ride:
“During the ride, the ski seemed to me rather calm, it’s definitely not a beast. Riding these skis is very relaxing and thanks to a width of 84 mm under the binding, nothing could surprise me on the ski slope. I could ride these skis in a very stable fashion and without hesitation even on a chopped up piste.” (Radka Luštincová (1990), CWR 84 161 cm)
“They excel in soft snow and the pleasure from the skiing experience grows hand in hand with the gradually changing surface of the slope into an uneven chopped up field on which other skiers with narrower skis start to struggle. They can do both carved and skidded turns, they are easy to manoeuvre in bumps and they won’t disappoint even on a frozen piste. One of my most beautiful skiing moments was riding the CWR 84 in the deep powder snow that had fallen on a groomed slope. Thanks to the CWR 84, I have had several fabulous skiing experiences abroad, when there was a heavy snowfall in the middle of the week and my narrow race-carver skis stopped being my friend.” (Honza Satrapa (1968), SATRAPA ski, CWR 84 176 cm)

To produce these skis is used quality structured polyamide topsheet from the largest European supplier ISOSPORT.
In these skis are used one biaxial and one triaxial prepreg carrier layer. A prepreg is a cloth that is already completely saturated by the manufacturer. The material is more expensive, but this is the way to eliminate errors in the saturation of the fabric.
Titanal is high quality carrier layer, that is used in the manufacture of skis. This layer significantly improves longitudinal and torsional rigidity. In these skis are used two sheet of titanal.
We use a woodcore - unidirectional spruce plywood.
On the sidewall, we use ABS material with guaranteed quality from Europe's largest manufacturer ISOSPORT.
This is not the damping while driving but damping the differences in expansion of the material, it ensure that material hold together. As a damping, we use anti-vibration rubber tape with a thickness of 0.2 mm.
On these skis we use quality steel edges, about hardness 48 ° HRC.
In these skis is used a quality sintered racing base from the largest European manufacturer ISOSPORT.
