Thanks to its design and parameters, this very versatile ski is suitable for almost all types of snow (in our opinion, except for icy black runs, where the ride was a bit unpleasant due to the ski’s large width). The hardness of the wooden core is the same as for the skis of the CWR 84 category, but in terms of composition the CWR+ 91 differs in that it contains only one Titanal sheet. In addition, this ski has a big rocker (reverse camber) in the tip, which makes it easier to initiate a turn, to enter uneven terrain sections when skiing on a slope or to move into powder snow in off-piste terrain.

How they ride:
“I have tested this ski on the ski slope, on all possible types of surfaces and it is really incredible what this ski is capable of. While it is true that on a hard and frozen slope the ride was obviously nothing to write home about, once the on-piste snow had slightly melted or once I had entered a section with natural snow, the ride would become totally perfect. Even with these lengths and with a width under the boot of 91 mm, the ski is very playful, dynamic and agile. Once the slope had been completely chopped up and big bumps had emerged, I finally appreciated the ski’s width and the big rocker in the tip. The skis were like an unstoppable train, I didn’t feel absolutely any unevenness on the ski slope and it felt like I was riding a perfectly groomed piste.” (Radka Luštincová (1990), CWR+91 173 cm)

“These are brand-new skis in the collection, but it’s definitely not just for having a ‘new set of skis in the collection’. However, at the very beginning, get rid of conventions and bear in mind this: „Don’t be afraid of the width, don’t look at the length and the rocker! The ski is cut out for experienced skiers whose best skiing experience is derived from accurately and dynamically made medium turns which can be cut short, extended, accelerated, snatched... They are incredibly playful, maybe also because they are not excessively stiff (except for the proper wooden core you will find only one sheet of metal). Still, they do not lack calmness even at higher speeds and, thanks to their width and tip shape design, they also do not lack ambitions in deeper snow and on chopped up slopes. However, making a fair comparison between them and freeride flat skis (and their usual helplessness on a groomed piste) is simply impossible. It reminded me of the enthusiasm after the emergence of the PCT (today the PC71) from the scores of fine-tuned slalom skis of all brands and there have not been and there are no better skis for the segment between a short and medium turn on a groomed piste. However, these skis point in a slightly different direction. Try them out and you will see!” (Honza Šafka (1966), CWR+91 173 cm)

Topsheet

To produce these skis is used quality structured polyamide topsheet from the largest European supplier ISOSPORT.

Lamination layer

In these skis are used two biaxial and one triaxial prepreg carrier layer. A prepreg is a cloth that is already completely saturated by the manufacturer. The material is more expensive, but this is the way to eliminate errors in the saturation of the fabric.

Titanium

Titanal is high quality carrier layer, that is used in the manufacture of skis. This layer significantly improves longitudinal and torsional rigidity. In these skis is used one sheet of titanal.

Core

We use a woodcore - unidirectional spruce plywood.

Sidewall

On the sidewall, we use ABS material with guaranteed quality from Europe's largest manufacturer ISOSPORT.

Damping

This is not the damping while driving but damping the differences in expansion of the material, it ensure that material hold together. As a damping, we use anti-vibration rubber tape with a thickness of 0.2 mm.

Edges

On these skis we use quality steel edges, about hardness 48 ° HRC.

Base

In these skis is used a quality sintered racing base from the largest European manufacturer ISOSPORT.
