A fine-tuned slalom race ski for experienced skiers and selected racing disciplines. It excels at aggressive,
short and quickly following turns, mainly on groomed slopes.
Top quality materials and sandwich construction with two Titanal sheets guarantee excellent longitudinal and torsional flex for a dynamic and uncompromisingly stable ride even on a frozen surface. This ski can reward the rider for active steering with great edge grip and perfectly made turns, which makes it an ideal choice for excellent skiers, experts and amateur racers.
The RC SL is not very suitable for off-piste skiing. A more powerful alternative to this ski is the FR SL, a special race ski for professionals.
How they ride:
“I enjoyed this ski most in the morning, when I was the first person on the ski slope, which was still hard and groomed. The ski holds up great, wherever I look it will go, it’s amazingly playful. Compared to the FR SL, I didn’t have to work so hard on these skis and I actually had some fun, even though the snow on the slope had slightly melted.” (Radka Luštincová (1990), RC SL 155 cm)
“A fabulous sporty slalom ski! It beautifully handles both short and medium turns. It absolutely loves riding on the edge and it won’t prepare any unpleasant surprise to its "master". Even at high speeds, the ski is very stable and if it is correctly sharpened, it will handle skidded turns without any problem.
Thanks to the expansion of the ski from the original 65 to 68 mm, it no longer excels on a hard piste only, but it can also make full use of its positive characteristics on a soft surface. It is beautifully manoeuvrable and if it is pushed hard, it will also show you its aggressive side. I would recommend this slalom ski to more aggressive-minded (ambitious) skiers who, among other, like to have a fight with the ski slope.” (Petr Konečný, SNOW FOR FUN, RC SL 165 cm)
“I love this ski (it doesn’t matter if it is 5 cm shorter or longer) – it holds up beautifully on the edge, it is accurate in turns, it’s very fast on edge change and, on top of that (as opposed to a FIS slalom ski), I can do this without any problem all day long. And the next day again, etc. It’s an ideal ski – it won’t wear you down and it won’t stop being entertaining.” (Standa Plecitý (1956), CK Růžový Panter, RC SL 160 cm)
