A very popular model of short sporty slalom ski. The RFC is an extremely playful and agile ski that forces the skier to make cleanly carved short turns at low to medium speeds.

Thanks to a short radius, a wider and softer tip and the flexibility of the classic sandwich construction with two Titanal sheets, the initiation of a turn is vigorous yet predictable, the middle part of a turn is sure even on a very hard surface and the end of a turn is pleasantly dynamic. An excellent tool for enjoying the ultimate carving experience, it is fit for a wide range of skiers from good recreational skiers to the advanced sporty ones.

In the lengths under 150 cm with a very short radius (less than 9 m), the RFC is also fit for carving practice drills. The ski is not ideal for skidded turns and for long turns at a high speed and it’s not suitable for off-piste skiing.

How they ride:
“While these skis may be predetermined for taking delight in extreme carving, they can be actually easily handled by all categories of skiers – from pros or skidding skiers to those who have just made their first carved turn. The difference between the RFC ski and the FC ski, which are both of the same shape (except that the FC doesn’t contain any Titanal and therefore it’s lighter), lies in the fact that while for the RFC it’s enough to move one’s ear and the ski will start turning, for the FC it’s enough to think of it and the ski will do the same. In my view, both skis are ideal for carving lessons.” (Standa Plecitý (1956), CK Růžový Panter, RFC 155 cm, FC 155 cm)

“The RFC (140-150) is a new and improved RCT ski, the best tool for making extreme carved turns. This ski contains all our carving experience from the last 15 years. Upon entry into a turn, this ski is willing and responsive and in the middle and final phase of a turn it stays accurate and uncompromising, as everyone has been accustomed to until now. The ski has a great handling of uneven sections, ruts and little moguls, which makes it a ski for all-day skiing. All these new characteristics enable the use of the RFC by a much wider range of carvers, especially women. Therefore, we can now strongly recommend the RFC to all carvers of the medium and higher levels.
The RFC (above 150 cm) are a tool for skiing experts. The racing technology makes it possible to make the most of each ride. A clear choice for excellent skiers who have perfectly mastered the carving technique and who are not willing to compromise. To make the experience truly memorable, we recommend using a special carving plate.”

Topsheet

To produce these skis is used quality structured polyamide topsheet from the largest European supplier ISOSPORT.

Lamination layer

In these skis are used one biaxial and one triaxial prepreg carrier layer. A prepreg is a cloth that is already completely saturated by the manufacturer. The material is more expensive, but this is the way to eliminate errors in the saturation of the fabric.

Titanium

Titanal is high quality carrier layer, that is used in the manufacture of skis. This layer significantly improves longitudinal and torsional rigidity. In these skis are used two sheet of titanal.

Core

We use a woodcore - unidirectional spruce plywood.

Sidewall

On the sidewall, we use ABS material with guaranteed quality from Europe's largest manufacturer ISOSPORT.

Damping

This is not the damping while driving but damping the differences in expansion of the material, it ensure that material hold together. As a damping, we use anti-vibration rubber tape with a thickness of 0.2 mm.

Edges

On these skis we use quality steel edges, about hardness 48 ° HRC.

Base

In these skis is used a quality sintered racing base from the largest European manufacturer ISOSPORT.
